The new LWRC International Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) is the epitome of a well-balanced and fast pointing tactical carbine. The rifle uses a lightweight sculpted rail derived from our REPR platform. The SPR-MOD rail, at 12” in length, is 33% longer than our Mark II-B rail, but incredibly is still 5% lighter. The cold hammer forged barrel is spiral fluted prior to being treated with our NiCorr surface conversion process. The spiral fluting shaves 20% of the weight off the barrel and relieves the longitudinal stresses that can cause the stringing seen in conventionally fluted barrels. The weight reduction in the front end and the svelte wrist of the user configurable rail, make for an incredibly well balanced rifle.
The SPR features our enhanced fire control group. The fire control group and the bolt carrier are coated in our proprietary nickel coating that promotes permanent lubricity and allows the operator to run the gun nearly dry when the situation requires it. The piston system is our mid-length system, which provides a more direct recoil impulse for faster follow-up shots.

The brand new Windham MCS-3 Rifle offers 3 Calibers in the same AR platform by simply changing out Barrels, Magazine Wells, and if necessary, the Bolt/Bolt Carrier and Magazine. Barrels are Chrome Lined for long wear and easy cleaning, machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel, finished in Black Manganese Phosphate, and rifled appropriately for the intended caliber. Receivers are CNC machined from forged 7075 T6 Aircraft Aluminum and finished in Hardcoat Black Anodize. Bolts are machined from Carpenter 158 Steel. The key to barrel interchangeability is on the underside of the MCS Upper Receiver. Once the Barrel Retaining Block is unlatched and moved forward, the Barrel Retaining Arms rotate out to release the barrel – ready to be replaced with the barrel of caliber choice.
In the MCS Lower Receiver, magazine interchangeability is as easy as dropping the trigger guard and pushing in the Mag Release Button. One caliber’s mag well slides off and another is substituted. Then, if required, the appropriate Bolt Carrier is inserted into the Upper, and with an appropriate magazine and the correct caliber ammo to match the barrel, the rifle is ready to fire. All Windham Weaponry barrels are clearly stamped with appropriate caliber markings.
